Want Not

Good morning friends-

Just a quick update on the Emerson Fry dress.  It was an epic fail - as I thought it might be.  Many extra inches in the shoulder, bust and especially the waist.  Of course, it barely fit over my hips. It was packed back in the box and dropped off at Fed Ex in record time.  It is beautifully made and fabric was lightweight and lovely.  It will be perfect on someone else and so versatile for work or play.

A different type of dress shopping is on my agenda for today.  My future (step) daughter-in-law has invited me along for wedding dress shopping with her mom and maid of honor.  I think she gets that having no daughters of my own and a fashion fiend, I'd love to be part of the dress selection process. My step-son did well - she's a keeper.

Hope you're having a lovely Sunday.

  2. Emerson Fry does have lovely, well made clothes but I can't help but think they are for long glasses of water not hourglasses. You will have a wonderful time shopping with your future daughter in law. Fingers crossed you guys help her find the perfect dress.

    1. I think EF is designed for a specific build and most cases - it is not mine :-(
Maybe EF will have the perfect something for us in the Spring.
