My favorite color

Cranberry and most berry shades qualify as my favorite colors.  I love them all.   Colors that are named after red wines - Merlot, Cabernet, and Pinot Noir hold an undeniable attraction for me-in my closet and my wine glass.  Imagine my sheer happiness at finding shoes in the perfect heel height, and cut for my fussy feet in my favorite color.  I have a couple of pairs of colored sandals, but no actual "shoes" that will add a pop of color to my basic neutrals, until now.

Pura Lopez suede and leather pumps with a wedge heel.  I found them by chance at a fabulous shoe boutique in San Francisco.  If you have ever in town, check out Heidi Says Shoe Salon and her other two gorgeous boutiques on Fillmore Street.  The shopping area of Fillmore Street spans several blocks filled with beautiful boutiques - mostly upscale and a lot of fantastic bars and restaurants.  A Rag and Bone store is also under construction just a block away from the Marc Jacobs store - you get the idea - this isn't your ordinary shopping district.

Happy Tuesday.  Hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend and honored those who labor by being extra polite and tipping big.

Emerson Fry arrives tomorrow...stay tuned.

Are there any favorite shopping haunts in your town.  Please do share.

  3. Love them! I would love a pair of cranberry-coloured shoes. I tried the aubergine Biellas, but they were too tight. I wish I could wear a heel, now, even a wedge, but more than 1.5 and I am done. Recently passed on my lovely Tory wedges, worn only once, to Miss GetFresh. I am sure she will

  5. Ugh...EF. No luck for me. I took pictures but.... Love the shoes. I can not wear the color by my face but do have shoes and a bag that look lovely with anything grey or navy I might have on. This season, I am feeling cobalt blue for some reason.

    1. Hi Blue-No EF for me on the first two items. The net pullover dress was itchy and bulky. Sadly the cuff sleeve dress was a bad color for me and just a bad fit. I still have high hopes for the v column print dress due in a few weeks. Both however were beautifully made and felt quite substantial.

  6. Lovely! I always adore a pretty colored shoe and wedges are just the best for comfort. I will have to check out this boutique next time I'm up in the city! It's so nice when you can find a good shop that has a nice selection. We have one in LG too and I so appreciate popping in there and finding something.

Thanks for finding my blog and your comments! I am enjoying reading all your posts too. Have a good weekend!
